Our Process

Complimentary Initial Consultation

Choosing a landscape company to design your outdoor living space can be a daunting process.  That’s why we offer a free initial consultation to all of our potential clients.  We think it’s important that the prospective client feels a connection and a shared common vision with the designer at the beginning of the design process.   The first meeting is critical in establishing expectations for both the client and the designer.  At this meeting you can expect to discuss the scope of the project, overall vision, functionality, and project budget.  Based upon this meeting, we will tailor a design proposal specifically for your project.

The Planning Phase

Once the design proposal is approved, the designer will produce a conceptual computer aided drawing along with other visual aids for review at the second meeting.  The “Planning Phase” of the design may include discussion about types of building materials (i.e. flagstone versus concrete paving, wood versus composite decking, etc…), brand of outdoor appliances (i.e. Fire Magic versus Viking), type and style of low-lighting and plant material preferences.

Design Development Phase

Once the “Planning Phase” is completed, the designer will proceed with the “Design Development Phase” and will prepare a detailed, scaled drawing and cost estimate for the project.  We feel it’s important at the end of the design process, that the client feels all of their landscape needs have been addressed and in this sense, communication is critical.
